Always a challenge to photograph the magnificient Gray-headed Fish Eagle diving for fish at the Pandan River. Very much dependent on the availability of fish in the river, the dives are also unpredicatable as it may be difficult for the fish to see when the waters are fast moving or when it gets murky after the rain. The presence of other predators like the Water Monitors and Otters often chase away the fishes.
Many dives came up empty handed but with practice, the percentages kept increasing.
And many times, the camera does not work the way one anticipates. The whole series may be a blur. Life goes on.
