Pulau Sekudu, Pulau Ubin (Frog Island)
Painstakingly carved by the forces of nature since thousands of years ago, the majestic granite boulders at Pulau Sekudu or Frog Island (as is more commonly known) are a sight to behold. The “sculptures” are succumbing gradually. It may not be too many years before this landscape is completely obliterated. But its unique presence is even more startling as there are no other islands like this in Singapore.
But the place is increasing under threat from too many visitors, curious on what the island has to offer. Now the island is protected and permission is needed before anyone can land there.
