Home of padi fields and glorious temples. Look out for the months of June and November when the padi fields turn golden just prior to harvesting. There is a 2 weeks variation between the estimated date of harvesting. Do not be surprised to see it all cut and remaining stalks burnt . Boutiques hotels have interesting wall murals and some hotels are in containers set in the middle of padi fields. How much more closer can you get?
