Launch of “Moments of Wonder” by Minister of National Development and minister-in-charge of Social Services Integration and MP Rachel Ong.
Held at the Alumni House, Kent Ridge, the event was attended by more than 150 persons and marked the 11th book by Dr Chua Ee Kiam. The event also garnered a donation of $107, 000; of which $87, 000 was donated to the Telok Blangah CCMC to organise green events for residents to better appreciate the biodiversity of the flora and fauna in Singapore. The rest was to fund the design and printing of the book.
Moments is a coffee-table book encapsulating the wildlife moments of nature in Singapore. Over 500 images taken over a period of 10 years, the book gives reads an insight on the richness of wildlife despite a bustling city landscape.
