BLACK-WINGED KITES

The annual spectacle of the Black-winged Kites with its dramatic super fast food exchanges is what drives photographers to seek their ultimate moments. Nesting at the Meadows, GBDB allowed more intimate moments of this “flying machine”. Constantly harassed by crows, these Kites can only defend themselves but will not attack them for fear of reprisals due to their sheer numbers

Rats almost every day. Wonder how the parents catch about 8-10 rats DAILY!

The feast at the Meadows at Gardens by the Bay was an ideal place for photography as the action was the closest ever.
