Fixing a Dot-sight on top of your lens can make a difference for some photographers. The more rigidly fixed, the more desirable as small changes can affect the focusing of the intended target. I used a Vector Optics Dot sight mounted to a Small Rig cage. For a fast reaction time, I view from the Dot-sight and once accurately calibrated to the estimated distance of intended subject, the strikes rates are much improved.
